Apologies if this has been brought up before.

The definition on Wikipedia:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permalink [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permalink]

In case you don't know, each blog entry you make on SU can be referenced independently. There's no easy way to find the permalink except by looking at the HTML source code. It looks something like this:
konradc.stumbleupon.com/review/4366391/ [konradc.stumbleupon.com/review/4366391/]

I'm proposing that this permalink be made visible on the review of the page because the page review does not do formatting nor does it display images. In this example, see:
stumbleupon.com/url/www.miffy.com/ [stumbleupon.com/url/www.miffy.com/]

I don't think this is useful on the reviewer's SU page. So I'm suggesting that a word "Permalink" be placed on the page review to the right-hand side of the thumbs up/down, name of author line. For each entry. That way if the reviewer wants to see the formatted text of another review, they can view it by clicking on the "Permalink" link instead of hunting thru the many blog entries using the Next/Previous buttons.

For those of you who have MSN Spaces blogs or have seen one, you know what this is and how useful it can be.

Edit: Here's a temporary fix with greasemonkey:

strangej.detrave.net/scripts/sureviewpermalinks.user.js [strangej.detrave.net/scripts/sureviewpermalinks.user.js]

It will change the dates on SU review to permalinks, like they are in the blogs.

Actually the date of the blog posts are the permalinks.

Oh I see what you mean, I thought you meant on your blog, not in the reviews pages.

Thanks StrangeJ, that's exactly what I was looking for! Wish it was part of SU though. Oh well, we'll wait and see.

EDIT: except I wanted a separate "Permalink" link instead of the date being the link, but it's a liveable solution :)

#5: Thanks for pointing it out. I've been doing it the hard way all this time! *sigh* Would be nice if this was also possible from the review page. I think it's most useful from there as I often find myself wanting to read the formatted text.
