Hi! At the end of August a friend gave me a Zenwalk Nano plus MP3 player. I downloaded the cd which took forever then crashed my system. I couldn't even turn it off. I uninstalled and tried it again. It crashed and everything was out of place and I had to spend hours on the phone with a Dell Indian support guy. This last go completely wiped out years of music from my Windows Media Player. As I was uninstalling it for the last time I looked at the Creative players.org download and there was more formatting stuff than the laptop came with. There was of course a bit "We're not responsible" written in such a way that they'd apparently already had problems along those lines. I'm running Windows Vista.
Occasionally I pick it back up and try to make it work. The friend who gave it to me as a birthday gift was so happy for me to have it because she knew how much I wanted one, she got me an eLibrary card for the Boston Public Library, detailing every step. I don't have the heart to tell her I have no clue how to make it work. I've watched the 'how to' and it clearly requires formatting, whereas the instructions say you can easily download directly by using the usb cable. However, do I get the music from my computer to the zenwalk? I don't purchase, and some of my music ended up on the Real Player. I'm clueless at this point? Does anyone have any tips. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much.
i nearly bought a Zen they look good, i got a Concept instead, i upload my music to it from my pc with a usb cable, i also upload mp3 books to it,
(maybe) you lost the ini file when you formatted it, contact Zen support or try google for zen problem,
I have a question. Until recently I downloaded something such as a video file/music file I had no problems. I recently uninstalled many of my addons. I added all the addons back ( or so I thought). Now when I try to download a video..etc, I get the same tab. When I click on the download to open it, I get an alert saying that the file does not exist. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
toolbar: mozbar 3.06 xpi
browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.7) Gecko/20070914 Firefox/2.0.0.7
I am using firefox. I get a popup with each download. This is normal I think. When the download is complete, I I chose to open it. This is when I get the alert.
I did a bit of nosing around and while I found multiple reasons for this to occur I found that the most consistent way of resolving this issue was to create a new profile in FF. Here is the procedure.
