I can not agree more. I've nearly hit cyclists that fail to stop at signs. Someday you're going to end up in front of someone that has worse brakes or a slower reaction time than I do.

Open source has come a long way. The only down side of open-source is product support, so you need to be somewhat technical to be your own support analyst. However, open-source has produced some amazing applications over the past several years :)
