A good post on the value of letting go. It takes practise and there are usually stages, but mindfulness is the key. Just recently, I decided that I was tired of fighting with myself over food, what I eat, how much I eat, have I been "good" today or "bad". So I just dropped it all. Whatever I eat, however much I eat, I refuse to feel anything but inner peacefulness. I can feel the panic rising sometimes but I let it go. And guess what? It is becoming easier.
