the story of the dropa stones is one of the litmus tests in my crap detector. none of the people referenced in this story can be confirmed to exist. the first reference to this story comes from erik von daniken. and, mostly importantly, it is impossible to translate a totally unknown language. even "human" languages can only be translated with a frame of reference to a known language, such as the rosetta stone. this story is demonstratively impossible with very little research. so any site that publishes it can safely be written off as not bothering to do any fact checking whatsoever.
so shocking u wont be able to sleep 2nite

An unknown treasure.
Some treasures cannot be explained, such as the Dropa Stones. Treasures are often referred to as lost or buried. Some treasures can also be mystical or metaphysical in nature, and there are treasures of the unexplained.
A Remarkable Discovery
In 1938 in the Baian-Kara-Ula Mountains that border and divides China and Tibet a remarkable discovery was made.
Chi Pu Tei an archaeologist and professor at Beijing University was exploring caves in the Himalayan Mountains. With him were students from the University. What Chi Pu Tei found inside the caves were ancient burial sites.
This was an exciting discovery for the archaeologist and his students. However, what was even more exciting was what he discovered inside the burial sites.
