This page is a real find. Just think: For only $10, you too can have a book, printed in oversized type, consisting of the "100 most beautiful words" in the English language as chosen by someone else according to that infallible guide: his personal opinion.
Well, I just can't afford so opulent a lexicon, so I'll have to go on contenting myself with choosing my own words.
Please try to restrain your outbursts of pity. I think I may just survive without this book.

Assemblage is already a French word! No wonder why it came from another French word.
why are they beautiful? Words are evolved from german, french, latin and norse words.
