Judging by the first picture it seems there's an enormous cave down there.
All I can think of is Buffy the Vampire Slayer...
imagine waking up to this outside your window.
I'm sick of all of these photo collections with no context. Site blocked.
For anyone who wants the real story (this means you, stumpyjames), see:
...NOT natural. Way to go, mankind.
From the page: "That is not a hole to hell. I fell off my balcony and my dick broke the cement"
What's even crazier, and it seems no one has mentioned this, but the first image is of a completely different sinkhole than the others on the page. They are both in the same region!! The soil there is made of a mixture of normal soil and volcanic rock which is susceptible to water erosion. This coupled with the leaking water pipes, sewers, storm drains, and naturally occurring underground water flow cause the sink holes. So it's no coincidence that they both occurred in the same place.
this, I believe, Is actually a new one in Guatemala (again) that just happened this past month.
