Interesting but quite hmmm..horrible as something that can even remotely be considered academic. It completely ignores that people are quite divers (for example personality and culturally). And more importantly..what is a 'friend'? Does everybody define it the same way?
A reader would probably think 'hey indeed, that friend of mine has more friends then me!' But he/she might forget that other friend whom has equal or less friends then he/she. As for myself I have friends who have more friends then me, less friends and probably equal. And I think this accounts for many..
