Stumblers Who Commented On This Page

Day in the life of inner city school teacher is hilariously bothersome.

I honestly doubt that this all happened in the same day. For sure, these extremist children are largely acting out rebellious tendencies inherent in every teenager. Lord knows I bordered on being Anarchist for most of my adolescence.
Obviously, these children have yet to learn to think for themselves. These statements are obviously simple repetition, originating from another source. Perhaps that is the real danger here--that these children, for right or for wrong, don't know how to look at things and come to their own conclusions. Not to say that I consider their points right or wrong, but there is little foundation behind these 'beliefs.'

this is depressing, because "liberal, forward-thinking" whites will read this and assume that it's "just a bunch of dumb niggers". way to go, salon.

I am sure the author took some liberties with this but the point remains the same.

From the page: My students have been bugging me since the first day of the year with a single, burning question.
"Mr. J., what church do you go to?"
I tell them that I don't discuss my personal politics or views on religion.
"You're a Buddha aren't you Mr. J.? Buddhas go to hell."
This story made me sad.

This is sad. To think that people don't have any better sense than to teach their children to be prejudice bigots raised on a pack of lies is the most pathetic of human conditions.
This is probably the most disgusting of American traditions, except for killing for money and power.
If ANYONE truly is a Christian and truly believes in God at all, they would not support a government and country who glorifies murder for hire for the purpose of gaining material wealth.
That is ALL I have to say about that.
Hey, all you self-proclaimed Christians out there: Just what exactly do you worship? Money? A big nice house? Social status? Republican? Democrat? American government? War? Murder? Or, just by chance, do you ever really even think about God and His plan for the human race?
If you think you are a Christian, you need to ask yourself why you believe in money and capitalism so much if you don't worship idols.
Then you need to stop labeling people like me as 'Negative Nellies'. It is you ALL who are the negative forces of this world, not people like me.
You are the backers of murder and mayhem, not me. You are the ones who endorse slavery and hatred, not me. You are the ones who store up treasures of 'green paper' and call yourselves a success, not me.
It is you ALL who give God and Christianity a bad name, not me. Any who call themselves Christians but endorse and rally behind a murderous pack of lies are nothing but misguided hypocrites.
The men who have died for the cause of capitalistic greed are the innocents for the most part. They actually believed they were fighting for freedom.
It is the ones who know they are lying and don't care who dies so they can be rich that need to go straight to hell. Do NOT pass 'GO', do NOT collect $200. No 'get out of hell free' card either.
You ALL deserve to stay there, since you loved it so much to make it for all of us.

This is a very interesting look at things, for sure, but it completely ignores the fact that there are perfectly reasonable, logical people living in this country today. In fact, maybe even as many as the type described here; the latter is just louder.
