This is a bit rough in places, but it allows a comparison of many languages on one site.
I think I've reviewed this site 3 or more times at various points in its development. It gets better each time. Language resources online are improving rapidly.
Dat is geweldig! (That is great!)
How come I hadn't thumbed this up?
LANGUAGES - www.ielanguages.com
I know that I'm not the only one realizing that knowing how to say "Quel joli poney" (which means What A Pretty Pony) doesn't really constitute as knowing how to speak another language. Luckily, this site is offering fantastic free tutorials on learning to speak another language, and overall serves as an excellent resource.
Ah ha! This helps.

Useful, nice to be able to compare and contrast so easily between languages as well.
a great website in understand language at its basics
if you want to learn a language ,this site can help you a lot.
Indo-European is probably my favourite group of languages
I didn't know Turkish was Indo-European.
Very handy for a good number of languages, particularly for travel and such.
Handy, can be catagorized as quite good reference material. They are not aimed at teaching you a language, but rather, starting and continuing an interest in that particular language.
Good help to teach you the basics of a fair number of languages. Of course, it will not make you proficient in a language, but still it is a good introduction. Especially useful when flirting :)
A very good site with correct and profound information. Learn Faroese or Icelandic - this is alway useful!
