funny web comic about a graphic designer designing a website for an annoying client.
Okay, clients can be difficult to please; fire the really obnoxious ones. This page, however, borders on hissy-fit territory. The clients had input on what they're paying you to design? WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE??!
And this is the reason I never made it as a web designer. I usually fired my clients well before that point.
Really funny (and accurate) description of the web design process.
I know someone with personal experience. Aaagh!
very funny indeed!
Tell me about it. Originally, one of my patrons suggested that I paint the Mona Lisa wearing a tanktop with their logo on it. And of course if I'd done it they would have asked to make the logo bigger. :-)
I will always and forever love this!
This is EXACTLY what happens. Except at the end I show the client screen shots of what I originally designed versus what they Fs$%d up, and about 60% decide that the changes flat-out suck - so they stick with the original proof. Maybe with a few content changes.
This cartoon is frighteningly accurate...
This is why I like to just be told what is needed and be left alone.
well, didn't i tell you i worked as a web designer? Here's a major reason why i shifted my career... funny though
Very True.... & awesome humorous explanation ..loved it :)
Why websites don't sell... even if you hire a good designer.
I simply don't do websites for anyone anymore.
