Oh not this shit again.
the time put into this reminds me that the world is going to be okay :o
and why should this guy have authority on how to set up amp settings when he doesnt know what amp your using
Gotta try some of these
By no means exact especially for specific amps, but it's a general starting point for those looking to emulate the sound of their favorite artists. Tweak the settings yourself to get the right tone.
D-Bag Know it all's aside, a good reference point for beginners.
i must try a lot of these
Generalized amp settings are completely meaningless without any info on specific amps and effects used. An AC15 at "7" is not going to sound the same as a JCM800, or a line six for that matter. Not every amp has a "drive" setting, and all digital reverb pedals will not sound the same at given levels as a spring reverb tank, or even as each other. This is ridiculous
Ridiculous. There is 'A LOT' more to it than amp settings.
not bad for those who want be try-hard versions of these artists, but it won't give you the professional touch.
my acoustic tribute to black sabbath won't sound very good with the distortion on, will it? Stop telling me what to do.
This is probably true on YOUR rig, not necessarily mine.
Might have been worthwhile if it had said something like "These settings are for X type of amp and Y type guitar"...
Rock On Brother! I'll have to share this with my students.
