Slangs throughout the decades.
We had rents in the '90s, and I think people have been saying "sweet" since the dawn of time... or at least as far back as I can remember.
"Barney Bag -- a gigantic purse"
reallY? who says that?
these are totally from the wrong decades... look up you facts or look at literature from that time! Sweet is from the 80's.
Hahah nobody I know used those ones in the 90's. I don't think I've ever heard anyone use "phat" or "get jiggy" seriously.
From the page: "Word -- yes; I agree"
That is so hardcore.
I feel like they're attributing a lot of these to much later decades than when they originated.
Great list bit I agree with vegan haha
They're all cool until they hit the '00s. Then they just get lazy.
This seems really innacurate to me. I'm sure most of these slang terms predate when they are actually dated.
Looks like I'm not up with the the current jive.
We said "sweet" in the 80's. Others are inaccurate, too. I still liked it.
Newbie, Peeps, and Sweet were all used in the 90s.. I know this, because I lived then
