What a power!
Where can I get some pram wheels and a soapbox?
Very good image, perfect for fart photoshop and stuff...
I hate being the voice of reason though, but it must be said: This will not slow earth rotation to gain a new weekday "lazeday". To do so, it would need enough thrust to give earth 52.1775 days, one for each week in the year. That would be a net thrust of [Instert a zillion newtons here]. So the lazeday program is postponed until we discover either antimatter engines or we get a 2nd moon.
Photo of NASA attempting to slow down the world's rotation so we can have an extra day every week ("Lazeday"). They must have got my letter then. Go guys!
Is that a snow angel by the nozzle? And I like the footprints going over and back. "Okay, Bob - you drew the short straw, so you have to light the rocket this time."
Stop slowing down/speeding up the earth!
does anyone else find this kind of comical? Especially with the "space exploration" tag
Context? Maybe an Ares 1 engine?
Is that snow or sand?
Is this a shuttle SRB? I wish people would link to a page with some context instead of the image.
Honey, stand back! I'm gonna turn on the driveway defroster!
