I have trained with Crossfit in the past and I truly do believe that this is the best fitness system that I have ever seen. I have used the principles of this system to develop my own workout program and I still check in for a training session once in a while to keep me fresh. Amazing.

Simply one of the best fitness websites I have ever come across, Crossfitters define fitness as, "increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains." It combines O-lifts, compound movements, gymnastics, running, rowing, swimming, kettle bells, medicine balls, to list only few. CrossFit prides itself on a "broad general inclusive fitness" whose, "specialty is not specializing."
Coach Glassman offers so much information to stimulate the body and the mind. His fitness model is broad, general, inclusive, scalable, effective and wickedly intense. To me CrossFit represents what fitness should be all about.
This is great. The daily workout suggestions-- usually based on doing as many reps as possible within an alotted time-- are so unbelievably intense that they force results. I'm spending the first half of this summer trying to build muscle mass by maxing out on low reps (ie, bulking up), but for the second half, I'm taking the CrossFit challenges (ie, puking my brains out). Epic Sisyphean struggle, thy name is summer weightlifting.

Believe it or not, I'm an exercise nut. I fully recommend this site for inspiration and training. But don't undertake a crossfit exercise the lightly. Read the FAQ, study the demos, and understand and practice what you're supposed to be doing. Then go crazy and get ripped.

Crossfit isn't really all that good. That something is hard to complete, does not mean that it works, people.
