Nice. It doesn't contain biographical references, and probably not geographical ones (proper names of places) but it's good. I like it. Paperxcrip, the more common spelling of "cumulous" is cumulus. That spelling is in there.
This would be a lot more useful if it was smaller, like on a toolbar or something
I like this. SpanishDict has something very similar for their Spanish dictionary and Spanish translation
I'm going to learn a new word a day.
Well, I don't really need my dictionary to be quick - I need it to be extensive...
Didn't strike me as being that fast. Just doesn't have pageloads.
Much better than m-w.com. This is an amazing auto-complete dictionary website, works very fast.
It can also define phrases. However, it doesn't display pronunciation yet and sometimes the site is slow.
from the about page: "With the DefinrBot algorithm, we can do 190,000 word completions per second without caching, and that translates to about 10,000 completions per second once the Ruby layer is factored in."
Wow, so much quicker than online webster (and others), love the slick interface too.
it's cute but OED beats all
words, words, and more words! yum! better than cake!
