The probability of any pattern on 5x5 dices is not the same. For example, 25x6 is much less probable than for example 123456123456.... Assuming you throw all dices at the same time and then arrange them in the best possible way. It would be the same only if you threw one-by-one.

Explanation of coincidence. Its all about probability theories.

What is the minimum number of people you need in a group for it to be more likely than not that two of them have the same birthday? 23.

Haha, even though this is so well explained - some people still don't get it.

This is the sort of little video that I hope goes completely viral but probably won't because it's too educational. "Math? Nooooo!" If more people saw this (and maybe took a frakking science class) then there's be less people who believe the Divinci Code is non-fiction, that certain numbers are special, that they are special, or that 9-11 was predicted by the Simpsons. Coincidences are still fun, a little reason to giggle and act all amazed, but he's 9 Billion percent right: it would be amazing if it DIDN'T happen.

A pretty good explanation of probability. I've realized that I have come to some of these conclusions myself such as the probability that someone will win the lottery (1:1) From a christian perspective, it's easy to think this video is anti-christian, but I realized that it really isn't. Even though I believe in supernatural activity, I should be informed about the probability of it being un-supernatural. As far as Evolution goes though, I know that probability by far destroys the theory.

Explaining something with the unexplained is just lazy thinking.

Brilliant! I do believe that coincidences are not unbelievable but simply unavoidable.
