Great info, a number of things I already knew (spicy food is an excellent one, really makes eating more interesting for me), but I'll have to try drinking a glass of water when I wait up, using cinnamon more often. I do think #7 is myth though: eating before bed doesn't mean those calories will somehow get burned slower than anything else, you're more likely, though, to get indigestion, which will keep you up, and then you won't get enough sleep, which WILL depress your metabolism.

Green tea is not caffeine free and your body's metabolism is not slower at night. It makes no difference how late at night you eat.
