well done :)
well done :)
It's fake, the cop that doesn't speak english as the native language, uses the same colloquialism as the 'hypnotist' does. : "Burning red light" and uses the same phrase to reference his speed: "twice the speedlimit" I know it is perfectly possible for it to be a coincidence. But it is rather unlikely. So FAKE!
I like his honesty, it does not work all the time.
Fake, and second, sometimes cops do let you off, he probably didn't want to deal with this douchebag. Where was this, Canada?
"Criticism of NLP extends beyond a lack of reliable evidence for its effectiveness. Certain neuroscientists, linguists and psychologists have written that neuro-linguistic programming is a pseudo-scientific title; NLP uses pseudo-scientific claims, concepts and terminology; NLP exhibits characteristics that identify pseudo-scientific developments; and NLP appears on lists of discredited interventions."
Snapping your fingers doesn't let you off a ticket, go ahead and try it.
Edit (addressing KidGrimm): Well I did watch damn near all of the video, but getting let off once out of several tickets means it doesn't work. Your chances of getting let off a ticket while doing anything short of slapping the officer and pulling your pants down are about the same. I've been pulled over twice in my life, one I got a ticket, another I didn't, which means just by doing nothing I've had a 50% success ratio. Yes, at some point if I rambled on, I may have confused somebody. Woo. I'm sure you could say you could spot lairs because they have shoes untied, and EVENTUALLY you'd come across someone who lies and has their shoe untied. Doesn't mean you can spot lairs, or that the technique is credible. Still believe its complete BS. For all we know the officer could have been having a bad day, or didn't give a sh*t, and was speaking in his second tongue, and easily got confused. Again, its a dumb and sh*tty technique that's been discredited on multiple occasions.
This is straight out of NLP. RichardBandler called it anchoring I think. Derren Brown has a great show doing this kind of stuff.
