logic at it's best
logic at it's best
Even the solution is hard.
Whoa this makes my brain hurt :P
What.the.fuck. Is the purpose of this question? What good could the existence of this puzzle possibly serve?
People in general have a hard time with thinking randomly. Just try playing rocks, paper, scissors with a partner and test this theory!
From the page: "Since the amended Random answers in a truly random manner, neither True nor False can predict whether Random would answer ja or da to the question of whether Dushanbe is in Kirghizia. Given this ignorance they will be unable to tell the truth or lie -- they will therefore remain silent."
See, I had assumed that True and False, being gods, can just glance a millisecond into the future and see which answer Random was going to give, and base theirs appropriately.
I was just brain*****d. -_-
my head is going to explode!!
The first question he asks is two questions mashed into one, ergo booloo just broke his own damn rules.
i cant help myself to comment on the review made by the guy/gal below me... you obviously didnt read the whole page. you are completely wrong in fact. IT MAKES ME SO MAD THAT YOU WOULD COMMENT THAT!! READ THE DAMN ARTICLE. STOP SAYING THIS IS AN IMPOSSIBLE PUZZLE JUST BECAUSE YOUR BRAIN DOESNT UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS!
Had this as an optional brainteaser in a programming theory class. Took a group of us at least an hour to solve!
Interesting, but I don't agree with their logic. So much of it seems to depend on already knowing which one is Random, and which response means yes- and I don't think the way they approached it does provide you with a concrete knowledge. Thumbs up for concept, but their logic gets the fail in my opinion.
The Hardest Logic Puzzle Ever
nothing can i say but a wow
I just can't.
Sheesh. This makes my head hurt.
Take the first half of TrixRabbi's solution, hope Random answers no and have a 50% chance of getting it right.
this is clearly the hardest one. If you are not a "genius" it is really hard to understand even the solution.
