I remember the generals, blaming the soldiers for losing the war. It wasn't the Vietnamese generals who won the war there, it was the American soldiers who was smoking pot who lost the war.
There are many stories about what happened over there. And many of them are true. There are even movies that have been made to pick thing some of what could've happened over there because they are mostly fiction but based on true actions by many soldiers there.
One movie is Apocalypse now. That depicted a jet American General who went AWOL, and took over a area in Vietnam and became the King. That was played by Marlon Brando. Martin Sheen, played the soldier that was sent out by the American generals to kill him.
My brothers have told me stories about their tour in Vietnam. And so some of what happened over there was not a surprise, because it also happened during World War II. It seems that what what comes along with war and invasion is crooked people who take advantage of the situation. And that included offices of who partook in setting up little stores or bodega has all five and Iams or meet and smoke for sale.
So who'll won the war who lost the war was going on. The Vietnamese were able to keep their country.
After seeing on the PBS channel recently, that the Vietnamese generals used to Sun Tzu's book the Art of war. And that book is very old. But apparently is still worked for the Vietnamese.
