A goldfish's memory is actually 3 months...
i am speechless
Roscoe Texas is home to the Roscoe Plowboys.
The goldfish memory span was debunked long ago, and I'm nearly certain that dragonflies live much longer than one day. There is a myth that houseflies only live 3 days, but they can live a month or longer.
Love the facts but the goldfish 3 second memory thing is an old wives tale.
Quite a few of these are inaccurate... and anyone with a middle-aged aunt has received all of these in the form of a fwd at some point. Why do people keep making pretty much this exact same web page and how many of them must I stumble in a day? :/
At least some of these are wrong...
so why is it then a long list if it's about learning a new thing each day...just one would be fine...
The Goldfish doesn't have a 3 second memory span.
A sentence in Learnsomethingneweveryday.htm is unlikely true
gold fish can remember things for years and even be taught to swim through hoops and you can sneeze with your eyes open if you hold open your eyes it's not even that hard your eyes are not the same size from birth although everyone's eyes are almost exactly the same size and stop growing at about 13 years old actually there have been animals domesticated in just the last 100 years there was and still is a Russian
science experiment where they have been breeding wild foxes selectivity with only the nicest ones mating and a another group being bred to be vicious the nice ones are actually available as pets alas for a lot of money the left hand does most of the typing only if you type correctly like they teach in school many people don't clearly whoever compiled this list doesn't know how to get reliable information from the internet many more of those "facts" are probably wrong but this is just what I could discount just off the top of my head!
A dragon fly has a life span of about a year. Not 24 hours. FAIL
fun fact: the canadian flag is an american flag as well
