Kids' letters to God: "Dear GOD, In school they told us what You do. Who does it when You are on vacation? - Jane" http://su.pr/1S4oDc
If You watch me in church Sunday, I'll show You my new shoes.
* Mickey D.
"Dear GOD, It rained for our whole vacation and is my father mad! He said some things about You that people are not supposed to say, but I hope You will not hurt him anyway. Your friend (But I am not going to tell you who I am)"
Haha! These are awesome.
From the page: "Dear GOD, Thank you for the baby brother, but what I prayed for was a puppy. * Joyce"
wow lots of good stuff here
"Who draws the lines around the countries?" Yes who.
There are a lot of questions here tat if you tried to ask a pastor them they still wouldn't be able to answer them.
"What does it mean You are a Jealous God? I thought You had everything."
Cool Kids don't get enough credit for thinking things through to there logical conclusion.
If you want a warm smile, this will give it to you.
Oh dear :
I don't know if kids really wrote this stuff or if some clever bod just made it up but it still very funny and honest. (on second thoughts Kids probably did write it then, its just I find it hard to believe that there are kids who write (to God no less) and arent stuck to the Xbox/Playstaions 24hrs a day). Here are some of my favourites:
Instead of letting people die and having to make new ones, why don't You just keep the ones You have now?
Did you really mean "do unto others as they do unto you"? Because if you did, then I'm going to fix my brother!
Thank you for the baby brother, but what I prayed for was a puppy.
I want to be just like my Daddy when I get big but not with so much hair all over.
Please send me a pony. I never asked for anything before, You can look it up.
Dear GOD, Instead of letting people die
and having to make new ones,
why don't You just keep the ones You have now?
I also have this question, GOD.
From the page: "Dear GOD, We read Thomas Edison made light. But in school they said You did it. So I bet he stoled your idea. Sincerely, Donna"
Aloha veryterry- Hmmmm...I must really be getting old--I don't recall ever having commented upon any "Dear God letters" via StumbleUpon---and being not only stridently atheist, but also a crusty and vocal anti-christian, I can only imagine what I said was unrepeatable in polite company--children are born atheist, they have to be taught about gods--the knowledge is neither natural nor innate nor instinctive...I consider religious training of children to be child abuse of the most heinous sort, because it causes a life-long struggle with subservience to unworthy masters (priests, pedophiles and thieves), guilt, inferiority, slavish devotion to ancient texts that are provably wrong on most accounts and general wrong-headedness.
What on earth did I say--you don't happen to remember where this site was, do you?
