Shakespearean sonnet resource
ugly-ass website, and you can get this elsewhere without ads. I recommend wikisource.
Awful design... and what the others said on that subject.
"Blow, blow, thou winter wind Thou art not so unkind, As man's ingratitude."
No, I am not going to change my browser preferences just so that I can read your website. The design completely sucks, its a pain to navigate. Shakespeare can be found elsewhere.
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed:
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
Amazing sonnets - Terrible Colours on the site.
The sonnets and commentary are great. The site is terrible!
Wow.. this website knows its design is an eyesore and yet does nothing to change it. I shall do nothing to read it.
It's very easy to find Shakespeare's sonnets on the internet, and this site does not do them justice.
