I love it. Look up N.W.A., it got rid of some of my confusion about the late 80s slang in "Fuck tha Police" (for example, "rolling off an 8" refers to Olde English 800, not to an 8-ball of coke). If you are both a rap fan and a nerd, this is pretty sweet.

Rap Genius is a website dedicated to explaining the meaning of rap lyrics, "like a thug Wikipedia" as they say. The site uses pop-up explanations, which can include pictures, jokes and of course the explanation and help provide an insight on what lyrics mean while still keeping it fresh and not nerding it up too much.
The aim is not to translate rap into âoewhitespeakâ, but rather to critique rap as poetry.
