While this has beautiful imagery, this has numerous blatantly false statements in the scientific content. I think it conveys some of the way the brain works, but should not be used as a reference for those currently uneducated about how the brain works. And those who already know how the brain works generally will find the wild bending of words and religious claims presented side by side with scientific statements thoroughly disgusting. Why do I know this? I've taken a small amount of rigorous Neuroscience courses.
THEN it goes into Quantum Mechanics.... And as a Physics major, I can tell you it has nothing to do with what this guy is talking about. Please understand that "cognition" and and other such metatheories have always been the realm of philosophy, religion and psychology, and that while Neuroscience is slowly infiltrating psychology, these realms still remain wildly self validating.
Anyone can pick homonyms and and claim that various context-sensitive statements support their cause.
I think the video is cool, but it needs to tell people upfront what it is. I have a feeling comments are disabled for a reason.
