the truth is very funny
haha Yeah, it's harsh, but so was the Spanish Inquisition. :P
PURE BRILLIANCE, DAVID M.
Edit: To be clear, I don't normally like mocking those who choose to be religious. Unless it's freakin' hilarious. Hell, we everyone needs to laugh at themselves now and again. If someone comes up with a good agnostic joke, let me know. (Because I'm not entirely sure.
Sounds like it would work, lol
That's fucking awesome!
A little stereotypical. But cool. Haha.
A little harsh in places, but not nearly so as what has been endured through the ages (and to this day) by "non-believers". "Burning at the Stake" for starters, a centuries-long favorite...
An assortment of the listed indoctrination techniques worked on most of my cohort. For a few of us, education provided a way out. The article is spot-on when it recommends limiting access to education as a good brainwashing strategy.
Thanks "BigJohn45." This was quite amusing. Check out "Best Answer" on this Yahoo query...
I don't believe the answer is so openly mocking religious believers. Ignorance and clever use of misinformation is by FAR the most effective way to stop a child from becoming anything the parents don't want them to be.
Not funny. As an atheist myself, I don't enjoy other atheists mocking religious believers and claiming that the majority of them are racist and can't use correct grammar. This is what we need to stop, this annoying, smarmy smugness.
Although if you don't want to go through the trouble, your local church will likely provide vital services to help brainwash your child.
