Not useful, because over here in Ireland LITERALLY NO ONE ACTUALLY SPEAKS IRISH AS THIER FIRST LANGUAGE and barely anyone can even speak it fluently.
Anyone who comes over here and starts trying to chat with the locals in Irish just comes across as a total tourist, who doesn't know very much about Ireland.
Also, to the guy calling me lazy; I'm just saying that it isn't useful. Which is true. It isn't and there's no arguing for the practicality of speaking Irish or the lack thereof.
I didn't, however, say that the language should be killed off. Just that it isn't useful in everyday Ireland, and let's face it. 90% of the population wouldn't be able to hold a conversation in irish if they were approached on the street.
