aww, fun stories...this would be "yore". as in, "days of yore".
I think the panic the original author is feeling when discussing the perpetuation of "computer fraud" is palpable and yet, in retrospect, goofy as all fuck. The predictions about the future of network security are really awesomely dated too. When I read things like this, I understand why some people believe in the Singularity. It's really hard to predict the future pace of technological and social progression.
