Yeah, I'm bumping this up higher again for inspiration.
A couple I know told me that the husband was doing this 14 minute daily workout. His wife looked proud of him and said to him, "Show her your guns!" He is getting some nice definition on his arms. The movements have been proven over the millennia - they are imitations of work done outdoors, such as shoveling, churning butter, chopping wood... The movements use practically all the muscles in the upper body, and you can incorporate moves that work the lower body as well.
On his No S Diet website, Reinhard Engels (the inventor of the workout and the writer of the diet) shows a mildly poodgy version of himself in his "before" shots. This is representative of the "after" shots he's provided over the course of the last few years. I'd say the combo of his diet and workout was working mighty fine!
(And yes, I just received my 8 lb. sledgehammer in the mail 7/18. I'll post what I think of the workout as I get into it. I did my first workout 7/19 and got a really good sweat going. My shoulders feel it a little. I think I'm going to like this workout a lot.)
