This is great. God bless US veterans.
Got outta corp in 79 after 12 yrs of fun, people still dont say much about that " police action" but bubba and to the americans that back our troops and our troops i sa Semper-Fi
Can someone please explain to me how people who live in America would bad mouth it? Maybe I'm just a little more annoyed by people saying "What has America done in the past two-hundred years that wasn't murder?" because I'm enlisted in the Army but I feel if you say stuff like that about the country you live in, you shouldn't receive the privilege of living in it. Oh, and by the way, the military helps protect your right to talk crap about America, maybe you should give them some credit.
That poor rural Iowan rock....
When I read or hear negative, ignorant ,derogatory comments about our country and our military, my first reaction is anger. Then I remind myself that I and many others have helped make it possible for the clueless to voice their opinion. I'm not referring to differences of opinion; that's healthy. I am referring to mean spirited ignorant rants. Bravo for that wonderful memorial!
I remember seeing this some years back after 9-11. Awesome memorial!
ugh, no thanks. What has the U.S. done in the last two-hundred years that wasn't murder? And with the ridiculous amount of killing our good ol' boys are doing in the middle east (over 1million dead Iraqis, and we're bitching about Darfur and New Orleans?), Bush can take that peace quote and shove it up his ass, where it seems to be spewing out of Obama's mouth. geez, soldiers are so ugly. paid murderers
Much more personal and, in my mind, meaningful than many of the statues and monuments that honor veterans. This was the labor of one person, not a committee, which is what makes it special in my mind.
