Predictions for the world after humans disappear
not much detail, and some things are inaccurate
wow. just, wow.
Oh really never thought about it!
Speculative but still interesting!
wow ONLY 100 years till co2 levels return to normal
the page is sketchy, but informative...i guess they want us to buy the book!
Very informative. Now I need to find something similar, but with humans :-)
I read the book. Even though it's very speculative, it was informative and engrossing. The chapter about our human remains and the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement (VHEMT) was especially awesome.
What AirIntake44 said. I'm sure Felis catus would make much better custodians of this planet than apes.
I prefer to think the feral housecats would evolve and take over the world.
This made me hopeful! As long as we stop producing chemicals with very long half lives (to biodegrade) then our impact will be minimal. That is, unless a runaway greenhouse effect scuppers that theory. WE NEED FEWER PEOPLE - STOP HAVING KIDS!!
They don't mention what would happen to our beloved pets. :(
