Hallo Intarnat
The "American perception" map annoys me. This is a weird combo of WWII-era stereotypes, highly subjective political viewpoints, and non-existent perceptions. One American might call Scandinavia "socialist hell" and another might call it "socialist heaven". For all of eastern Europe, it would be one giant grey blob of "poor". Greece would be "cruises!", Turkey would be "muslims", and Russia would be "poor and vodka-soaked". The "smelly French people" stereotype doesn't exist anymore, but "snobby French" still applies.

I'd like to think that we're not homophobic but there have been recent cases that would enforce the stereotype. One step at a time we'll learn.
