These games look like they'd be awesome.in 16 bit.
Brilliant old-school mockups of modern games.
Some of these didn't make sense (not to drag on the point, but mario kart wasn't top-view on SNES), and others had pretty much been done previously, and the current versions are often remakes/sequels...but still, most of these are pretty cool, and actually look really nice. I play a lot of SNES games on my PSP, and have just as much fun as current-gen games/systems. Graphics are important, but they certainly aren't everything.
eh. Most of these have already been low-res 2D or close to it in the past, doesn't seem like that big of a deal.
Gorgeous, believable little translations. It's good to see people still appreciate the more retro style of graphics.
This was awesome!
I want to play the 8-bit version of all these games!
Some folks seem to have missed the point... It's supposed to be nostalgic, not original.
Cool, but I'd also love to see the reverse
Nice job having a FF game and a Metal Gear game. And making them look almost exactly in the style of the older games. Not to mention how their "Soul Calibur" looks like a bad Street Fighter. But I do kind of like how the Metroid one looks more like a 16-bit Metroid Prime than, say, Super Metroid. What I really didn't like, however, was how they called Mario Kart Wii "Super Mario Kart". That game is already on the SNES. So overall 6/10 for creativity despite the shaky quality and the clear evidence that the author didn't think half of them through.
Yes, well done and all, but I don't see the appeal. It went from sexy to gross.
Most of them look fantastic...
......Can....can we have a couple made...?
