Neat idea, but if you've invested in a light system that you want to control from one central location, you'll probably just have some kind of touchpad display setup.

I don't really see why you would need to be able to turn on lights from across the house, unless you were trying to convince someone that the house was haunted or something. It's a cool idea, but not very functional. Also, it doesn't really work for individual lights in a room
