We’re excited to share that Inc. Magazine has ranked StumbleUpon No. 126 in its 29th annual Inc. 500, a list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The likes of Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit and many other beloved brands have made this list in their formative years, so we’re tremendously honored to be in such great company!

This year alone we’ve achieved some huge milestones, like surpassing 10 million registered users, increasing views of our dynamic badges more than eight-fold to nearly two billion views per month, growing our advertiser base by 20% since launching our new ads system, and releasing our mobile apps for the iPad and iPhone and Android phones. We were named one of the top social media traffic referrers in the world by StatCounter and Woopra reported that we drive more than half of all social bookmarking referral traffic globally. We’ve increased headcount nearly 50% in 2010 alone, and our three-year sales growth rate is 2,035%.

But, honestly, all those numbers don’t tell the full story of StumbleUpon’s recent growth and innovation. I’ve watched the StumbleUpon office fill up around me with amazingly talented people since I joined in April, and it’s getting crowded in here! There’s definitely an electricity about the place, too – a  feeling that we’re doing really interesting and transformative work to enhance the stumbling experience and show the world a better way to discover content and information. I often hear colleagues say to me, “This is such an exciting time to work here. I actually love coming to work everyday!”

But what’s even better than hearing from us is hearing from YOU. Here’s a sampling of my favorite user comments about StumbleUpon:
