As the amount of content and information around us grows, discovery is an even more important way to find the good stuff that matters to us.  So starting today, we’re rolling out a brand new version of StumbleUpon that makes it easier than ever to discover new and interesting things from across the Web.

We’ve completely redesigned the experience, including a revamped site design, new logo, streamlined StumbleBar and even more ways to explore with the addition of Channels and a deeper integration of the Explore Box.

Why redesign the experience?  Honestly, a lot of it was driven by what you’ve been telling us.  When we talk to members like you about what you love most about StumbleUpon, we’ve heard that Stumbling is an adventure: a journey that entertains, informs and inspires along the way.  So we wanted to bring that sense of adventure to our site with more visuals and a streamlined design that enable you to engage more deeply with the great content that is at the core of Stumbling.

The simpler and easier StumbleUpon

With this relaunch, we’re also fully rolling out Channels for all members.  If you haven’t checked it out yet, Channels are a new way to explore the Web.  This is how it works: your favorite sites, brands and people create Channels on StumbleUpon, you “follow” the Channels you like, and you then get to discover great content from them while you Stumble (all still recommended based on what you Like).  Some of our most popular Channels so far include the History Channel, Funny Or Die and Paula Deen.

Explore your favorite sites, brands and people with Channels

The Explore Box is also integrated directly into the StumbleBar so you’ll be able to explore whatever you’re interested in, when you want to get more specific.  So regardless of how you Stumble, there are now even more ways to find amazing stuff from across the Web.

You can try out the new StumbleUpon by logging into www.stumbleupon.com and clicking the banner message at the top of the page.  If you enjoy our mobile apps and browser StumbleBars, you’ll see these updated in the next week or so.

We’ll be making improvements over the coming weeks, but we’re excited to share this new version with you now.  Please try it out and let us know what you think.  You can also learn more by checking out visiting our Help Center or viewing this video.

Stumbling has always meant exploring.  With every click of the “Stumble!” button, you have the possibility of finding something amazing that you never would have found before.

Happy Stumbling.
